As a yearly tradition, I always ring in the new, Autumnal season with a trip out to the Apple Orchard. This year, we got a little ahead of ourselves and went a little before peak season. Although a lot of the apples we were looking for weren't ripe yet, we did find a few new varieties we'd never had before.
As always, there was grilled corn on the cob by the fire, walks along the river banks, hay rides and apple sampling galore. We missed Sarah dearly, as she usually joins us on journey but since she was in Glasgow but she was definitely there in spirit.
It was the perfect Fall day, we couldn't have picked a better one in which to spend this yearly romp.
