Spending time in California, over the change of the season, is quite the spectacle. Instead of a bitter chill backgrounding the falling leaves, you're met with only a slight whisper of a cool breeze. The trees are still turning colour and the night creeps up earlier and earlier every night but that weather is so constant. It's amazing to me that some lucky people are treated to this kind of environment all the time. It's such a shift from the snow and biting cold that I'm used to in late October over in Canada. Playing with these munchkins and watching them frolic in the fallen leaves was so much fun. Dan and I dream every day of moving out here and it's moments like this that make this place all the more appealing.
