We woke up in the morning to the sunlight pouring through our blinds. It has been raining throughout the night and the sweet smell of morning dew was coming in through the windows.
I was exhausted but was craving some carbs. Dan agreed to go out and search for some pastries while I got up and started making the coffee. We had a little table in the corner of our room with a fantastic view of the city.
Dan brought back an amazing assortment of treats. Sweet and savoury. There is nothing quite like bread fresh from the bakery! And nothing like German baked goods.
The homemade coffee from the coffee machine, on the other hand, was lacking for something but with a view like that...who could complain.
since we have upgraded to the suite, it came with our very own bath robes and slippers, the perfect outfit for enjoying breakfast in the bedroom.
A little view of our bedroom from the coffee table. It was the most lovely little suite. And felt so European!
The weather didn't look fantastic, but we were optimistic. We didn't have any new clothes to put on, so choosing an outfit for the day was pretty simple. We through back on our clothes from yesterday grabbed an umbrella from the front desk and headed out the door to finally explore Dresden in the light of day!
