After lunch in Disney's Hollywood Studios, we headed for the park's busiest ride: "Toy Story" Mid Way Mania.
Although we had our fastpasses, we still had to wait in the fast pass line before entering the ride.
The area for people to line up was enormous. Three or four times the size of the actual ride it seemed. We walked right thru, but that was fun to see all the amazing theming throughout.
The ride was much longer than the one at Disney World and just as much fun. I lost out to Dan, but it was a valiant effort.
After being jolted around in the Toy Story ride, we walked around the wet back lot streets, designed to look like the Hollywood Backlots of Hollywood's heydey in the 1930s and 40s.
Indian Jone stunt show was next up on our fast pass schedule. Although the rain prevented them from doing all their stunts what we did get to see was amazing and an exciting show to watch.
Next, we headed to the newly built "Launch Bay" where guests had the chance to meet characters from the new and old Star Wars films.
While lining up, we walked through much glassed in exhibits to look at various props and replicas of the props used in the movies.
Meeting Chewbacca was one of the most fun character interactions we had in the park. He enjoyed Dan's beard.
For Dinner, we dined at the Vintage, Hollywood Derby Restaurant.
The entry is covered in caricatures of classic Hollywood actors.
Inside it feels like you're dining in Hollywood in the 1950's.
The menu had American classics and we some of the best food available in any of the parks. Truly high class.
As night fell, we headed over to the Fantasmic stage to grab our seats, which we had reserved with our last fastpass.
The show was incredible. Breathtaking. An absolute blast.
Fireworks above the park themed to "Star Wars" music finished off the night with - a literal - bang!
